My cervical spine MRI diagnosis is: Diffuse disc bulge is seen at C5-6 level indenting anterior thecal sac, effacing bilateral lateral recesses and impinging on descending nerve roots. Mild disc bulge is seen at C6-7 level indenting anterior thecal sac. I have pain in my left shoulder going right upto my left hand thumb and forefinger. Mild pain in neck is also there. Please advise.
Hello and welcome to HCM, The MRI shows bulging of intervertebral disc at level C5-6 and C6-7. This has caused spondylitis. You need to consult an orthopedician for management. Rest, exercise and pain killers can help to an extend.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
